Head To The Small Town Of Durham For Connecticut's Largest Agricultural Fair

In the small town of Durham, Connecticut the 8000 residents get together each fall and invite fellow New Englanders to join them for the state's biggest agricultural fair.

The weekend-long event has been a local institution since 1916!

Each year the town of Durham puts on a wonderful display of New England's finest growers, farmers, artistisans, and more to highlight their rich history.

Locals vie for the best in show ribbon in categories like flowers, fruits and vegetables, largest pumpkin, livestock and small animals.

Family-friendly entertainment includes oxen pulls, tractor pulls, and timber events.

In addition to the agricultural activities and displays, there is a large section of carnival rides and games on the fair's midway.

There's also some fabulous live music! This year's headliners include the Little River Band, Big & Rich, and Braiden Sunshine.

And don't even get me started on the food! The Durham Fair offers traditional favorites like Fried Dough, sausage and pepper sandwiches, chocolate covered bananas, and so much more!

This year's fair takes place September 26th thru September 29th. Click here to buy your tickets now! Hope to see you there!
