Enjoy Mexican Food, Music & Wrestling At The Connecticut Taco Festival
Share
The upcoming Connecticut Taco Festival will bring together arts and crafts, tacos, margaritas and authentic Mexican wrestling. What a unique combination!
The event, which is in its third year, will be held at the Auerfarm in Bloomfield on Saturday, June 29th from 12 to 6 PM.
Although it is relatively new to the New England festival scene, this colorful event has quickly become a fan favorite! Whether you come for the food or the entertainment, there will be a little something for everyone!
The food vendors will supply endless beef, chicken, pork and fish taco creations as they vie for the festival's coveted Best Taco award. There will also be vegan and gluten-free options.
After selecting a few tacos and an adult beverage to wash them down, pull up a chair ringside and watch the show as the Lucha Libre wrestlers display their talents.
Lucha Libre is the term used for wrestling by our neighbors south of the border. This style of wrestling is high-flying and fast-paced with all the wrestlers using colorful traditional masks to hide their true identities.
After being amazed by the acrobatic skills of the luchadores, be sure to make your way around the rest of the festival where young ones can enjoy arts and crafts and other fun activities. Or simply enjoy the music and shopping!
Mark you calendars and bring your appetite for a great day of family fun and entertainment!
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or on the day of the event for $20 at the door. Children under 12 are free!
