Fenway Offers Several Park Tours Designed For Die-Hard Fans

Am I the only Bay Stater who had no idea that Fenway Park offers tours? I have been to at least 30 games in my lifetime, but I imagine it would be a whole new experience to explore America’s second oldest ball park without the surging game-day crowds.

Per the Red Sox website an official tour of the stadium offers the chance to:

See the home of Red Sox Legends, Williams, Yaz, Fisk and Rice. Visit Pesky’s Pole and sit atop the world famous Green Monster which stands 37 feet 2 inches high overlooking leftfield. Our experienced tour guides provide a thrilling, one hour, walking tour of Fenway Park.

Ballpark tours are available daily, year-round and regardless of weather. One-hour walking tours run hourly from 9 AM to 5 PM on most non-game days.

Public Tours are $20 for adults and $14 for kids. Prices vary for premium tours. The basic guided tour features a history of the park, team, ball club and players.

The Fenway in 15 Tour is more of a quick overview. It includes a visit to the Nation’s Archives at the Royal Rooters Club, the Right Field Roof Deck, and ends with a panoramic view of the ballpark and the Boston City Skyline.

The Pregame Tour allows fans to enter the ballpark before the general public, visit the field’s warning track and sit in the bleacher seats from 1934. This experience concludes high atop the fabled Green Monster!

The Game Day Premium Tour is perfect for the little ones and includes a meet-and-greet with Wally the Green Monster, a photo op on the warning track, and a verbal history of Fenway Park and the Boston Red Sox. Available on afternoon game days before 3 PM.

There is even an Ultimate Birthday Tour that allows a lucky fan and his or her pals to try on uniforms of players past and present and try their hand at batting in an official MLB cage. Guests receive a Red Sox souvenir with their tour. The package even includes cake and a private, decorated party room!
