Grotto Offers Old World Charm & Modern Mediterranean Cuisine
Share
Grotto is the sister restaurant of The Marliave, Boston's oldest chef-owned restaurant. With a cozy, intimate atmosphere, they offer old world charm and delicious northern Mediterranean cuisine.
Located in "an inconspicuous, subterranean spot on the back side of Beacon Hill," Grotto features exposed brick walls, red painted exposed plumbing, and sexy artwork from talented locals.
Enjoy Saturday and Sunday Brunch from noon until 3 PM every weekend with traditional breakfast favorites, Italian specialties and a dish that marries the two: Eggs In Purgatory consists of two poached eggs floating in a sea of Grotto's "insanely fabulous tomato sauce."
After an employee tested positive for COVID-19, Grotto closed for a full deep clean and sanitization. They also installed barriers in-between the tables to further protect their patrons.
They are currently offering indoor dining, patio dining, takeout (including weekend brunch!) and delivery.
Make your reservation on @opentable or order takeout directly from the Grotto website.
