Maine's Iconic Colony Hotel Offers Poolside Dining & Entertainment
Share
I'm sure we are all ready for a getaway, and Maine has some of the lowest COVID-19 cases in the country.
While the historic Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport, Maine is yet to reopen to overnight guests, they are slowly introducing entertainment and dining at their Marine Room Restaurant and pool deck.
The Colony has been owned and operated by the same family since 1947, and is Maine’s first green hotel. The entire property - including the gorgeous pool deck - overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, the Kennebunk River, and a pristine private beach.
While closed during the height of the pandemic, The Colony's restaurants continued offering fresh seafood favorites for curbside pickup, but they are now ready to begin the slow process of reopening to the public.
Opening Day was June 1 when the Marine Room and pool deck began serving craft cocktails as well as lunch and dinner menus featuring salads, housemade chips and salsa, fish tacos, burgers, steamed lobster, and more.
The hours are 12 - close, 7 days a week with live music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Guests must observe safety and social distancing guidelines.
