Warm Up With New England's Best Scratch-Made Soup In Newton

Warm Up With New England's Best Scratch-Made Soup In Newton

Husband and wife team Marjorie Druker and Paul Brophy started the New England Soup Factory in 1995.

Their Newton shop is a local favorite for scratch-made comfort food including rotisserie sandwiches, artistic salads, house-baked cookies, and of course, award-winning soups!

According to the couple, "the key is to create comfort food that is good for you."

The New England Soup Factory offers all of your favorite American standards, as well as soups inspired by cultures around the world.

Try the Lobster Newburg or New England Clam & Corn chowder for some local flavor.

Or expand your palate with Chinese Hot & Sour or Matzoh Ball Chicken Soup.

The sandwich meats are carved from rotisserie chickens slow-roasted right in store, and the fresh salads are served with your choice of homemade dressing.

You can opt to make a meal of soup alone, or create your own combo by mixing and matching any soup with a sandwich, garden salad, Caesar salad, or side.

Druker and Brophy know you'll want to take the flavor home with you, so they keep a freezer case packed with many of their most popular soups, as well as homemade Bolognese and Marinara sauces.

Adventurous souls can even learn to create their own gourmet soups, chowders, chilis, stews, and bisques with the New England Soup Factory Cookbook.

New England Soup Factory is located on Needham Street in Newton. Check out their website for winter hours and daily menus!
