Stranger Things Themed Bar "Pops Up" In Boston
Share
Boston has yet another themed pop-up bar for your enjoyment. Precinct Kitchen + Bar has taken on an 80's vibe and transformed into Hawkins, Indiana, site of the crazy happenings of Netflix's Stranger Things.
The bar features vintage arcade games, aptly named food and drink specials, and much more!
The pop up debuted Friday, Oct. 26 just in time for Halloween weekend and will remain open nightly through Nov. 16. Be sure to visit the "upside down" before it's too late!
Try your hand at classic games like Ms. Pac Man and Space Invaders as you enjoy a show-inspired cocktail. I recommend the "Justice for Barb," made with barrel-aged Laird’s Applejack and Woodford Reserve bourbon and served in a souvenir cup.
Additional cocktails include the "Cotton Candy Cosmo", the "Banana Seat" and the "Eleven" - served with an Eggo garnish. If you're more of a Hopper kind of guy, the bar is also stocked with canned Schlitz.
When you're ready for some Stranger Treats, head to the bar and order a Dustin’s Pizza, a box of Strange Popcorn, or a plate of deep fried chicken served on malted waffles with maple bourbon butter, known as Eleven’s Sliders.
If you are yet to make plans for Halloween night, throw on your blond wig, pink dress and striped tube socks and join the party at Precinct. The party will feature a DJ spinning all your '80s favorites.
The party will continue every Friday and Saturday night until the pop-up shuts down mid-November.
