The 2019 Boston Children's Winter Festival Promises Fun For All

Most of the fairs and festivals around Boston offer a little something for the kids with a few crafts, characters, and maybe a bouncy house or two. Unlike these events that see kids as an afterthought, the annual Children’s Winter Festival is all about making the little ones smile!
This February school vacation, head to Boston Common for a full-day of fun for growing bodies and developing minds!
The free, family-friendly festival takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 10 AM to 4 PM with activities such as arts & crafts, games, and inflatable rides, slides and obstacles.
The 45-foot-long toboggan tunnel offers heart-pounding excitement for bigger tots, as does the 30-foot “Everest” climb n' slide.
Games include Baggo, giant Connect Four, giant horseshoes, and my personal favorite, Skeeball!
This year's winter-themed photo booth is an adorable ski-themed chair lift.
As in past years, the Highland Street Foundation will feature free ice skating on the Boston Common Frog Pond.
103.3 AMP radio will be there to play kid-friendly jams and offer giveaways.
According to the event page, there will even be souvenirs from “Ralph Breaks the Internet” and “The Little Mermaid!”
Healthy snacks will be provided by companies including Cabot Cheese and Nature’s Path.
The 2019 Boston Children's Winter Festival is sure to be a blast for all ages, so gather up your little ones and head to Boston Common on February 20!
