Sweet Lydia's Handcrafted Confections in Lowell, Massachusetts specializes in delicious homemade marshmallows, s'mores, and candy bars. They also make fabulous chocolates, caramels and toffee!
The shop's signature gooey treats began as a hobby when the owner started making marshmallows and s'mores to send in care packages to friends and family.
Lydia found herself innundated with referrals and requests for more goodies. What began as a cooking experiment soon became a full-time business!
After featuring marshmallow favors at her own wedding, Sweet Lydia's even expanded into the competitive world of wedding planning.
Over the years, Lydia has expanded her selection of flavors and delicious marshmallow combinations, like the wildly popular "reverse s’more" made with graham cracker cake and chocolate ganache, topped with melted marshmallow.
All of Sweet Lydia’s marshmallows are at least 2 inches square and 1 inch high, far larger - and tastier - than the bagged, store-bought kind.
She also enjoys experimenting with seasonal treats - like homemade Peeps at Easter.
And holiday flavors at Halloween and Christmas.
Even if marshmallow candy isn't your thing, no one can resist a mug of hot chocolate loaded with melty marshmallow treats!
